Born in 1978 in a family of photographers, Kishor Kayastha has been into photography since he was 9 years old. Inspired by the Renaissance period, Kayastha loves art and considers his camera a brush, light as his colors and the image as his canvas. For him, photography is a form of art and instead of taking pictures, he enjoys making pictures. Kayastha prefers to be known as Fine Art Photographer. Till date he has had three exhibitions: Images from Bhaktapur (2000), Life through Lens (2005) and Larger than Life (2008). Currently involved in ECS magazine as a contributing photographer and advertising photography for a variety of clients, Kayastha sees a bright future in photography in Nepal. He feels that Nepal needs a lot of photographers and encourages young photographers to be active and join him. His dream project is to publish a book that shows Nepal in total.
