Living on the Edge: Burma's Borderlands
Living On the Edge documents life on the Myanmar-Thailand border, which has seen a massive spillover of refugees from the repressive regime in Burma. It particularly focuses on the Karen, an ethnic minority which faces extreme persecution as the Karen National Liberation Army seeks to protect their rights. Taken over a period of three months in border towns, refugees camps, and inside Burma, this visual story seeks to show the human side of life as a refugee.
